Implications
The usable portal will be developed on the project containing a new training material to enhance the professional competence of nurses and thereby ensure the ethical quality of compulsory interventions implemented in psychiatric hospitals.
The project will also create a new co-operation network among individuals (nurses, teachers, nursing executives), groups (ward personnel, education units, class, nursing students), organisations, and various regions and countries. In addition, the project will have short-term effects on organisations, regional and national decision-makers and from the international perspective.
In the long term the project will change nurses’ actions by supporting their capacities to manage ethically high standard interventions in psychiatric hospitals. Therefore, the project will support the quality of European labour forces.
