Master Degrees:
Faculty of Medicine offers four master degrees: Licentiate in Medicine, Licentiate in Dentistry, Bachelor/Master of Health Sciences (Nursing Sciences) and Master Programme in Health Biosciences, Main Subject Drug Development. Already a doctor, dentist, registered nurse
Working as a doctor/ dentist/ registered nurse in Finland
- A degree in medicine or in dentistry taken abroad and approved by National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health

Adequate written and oral knowledge of Finnish. Ability in Finnish may be shown by a certificate signed by an Assessor on the State Board on Language Examinations. More information in Information Guide.
Postgraduate Studies
Faculty of Medicine offers four postgraduate degree programmes: Doctor in Medicine, Doctor in Dentistry, Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Health Sciences (Nursing Science). Applications may be submitted throughout the year. Please notice that the application deadline for Doctor of Health Sciences (Nursing Science) is 31.8. every year.
