Our three year residency program trains physicians to become well-qualified anaesthesiologists. Rotation between operating theatres with different types of anaesthesia has been arranged. We have two weekly lectures on the basics of anaesthesia as well as the latest break-throughs. An in-training oral examination on the basics of anaesthesia is taken about three months after entry to the residency program. Each resident entering the program is assigned a faculty tutor. Throughout the training program, residents are encouraged to participate in ongoing research.
